This leopard motif is inspired by the ranking symbol embroidered on the government officials’ gowns during the Qing Dynasty. Other animals such as, crane, dragon and phoenix were used to signify different ranks. Leopard is a sacred animal in Ancient Chinese culture, which represents strength, and perseverance.
 
The lamp embodies modern fusion chic with the finest embroidery, which is a novel addition featuring an opaque globe mounted atop the brass arch allowing it to radiate a warm light. 
 
The embroidery is handmade by artists in China, and the body is made in Italy.
